Help Missourians for Cleaner Cheaper Energy get our new TV ad in front of Missouri voters:
There is Power in the wind and the sun.
Power to create new energy that's cleaner, cheaper.
It is the Power to create new industries, new businesses right here in Missouri.
But most of all it is the Power to create thousands of new Missouri jobs and put people back to work.
Hey Missourians, help us make history and bring clean energy to Missouri by passing Proposition C. Your help is desperately needed. Volunteer by distributing Prop C yard signs or attending a Clean Energy Action Day. Action Days include voter education like phone banking, door knocking, or doing event outreach.
And you non-Missourians can drop some coin to help get progressives out to vote in this important swing state.
Sorry, to just cut and paste the press release, but we just found out five minutes ago that -- after initially not being certified -- the Missouri Clean Energy Initiative WILL be on the November ballot.
Missourians and national groups alike have been calling for mandatory Renewable Electricity Standards (RES). No other policy is as effective at spurring the development of renewable energy.
Unfortunately, Missouri is missing this opportunity, as our elected leaders have not yet passed this critical law. Two-thirds of Missourians support an RES, so it's up to us to bring this issue to Missouri voters.
